now i know why so many people retreat to tumblr.
it’s because we feel lonely.
it’s when you have a shitty day and you see a funnyass post that just makes you laugh and forget about all the shit in your life for a few minutes and bask in the gloriousness and genius off the creativity that is shown on here.
it’s because there are those blogs that give deep advice, or those people on here that genuinely care for the health and feelings of everyone that is struggling.
it’s because of the hilarious shit people post about the election.
it’s because even though there’s so much going on outside of our rooms, we fall back for comfort. because it’s terrifying knowing that you’re on your own. and to feel that this pain wont go away.
that you’d rather feel nothing, than feel this way.
it’s because of the lonely nights where all you want to do is give up, and you log on and see so many others in the same position.
it’s when you try to pour your emotions into words, and post them to the rest of the world. because even though only one person reads it, at least they’ll know. and maybe they won’t feel like they’re the only one. and the loneliness sheds off a little bit.
it’s because we all have our own fucked up lives.
and being on here helps.
it even sometimes saves lives.
dreading on this misery hurts. and tears at my heart everyday.
but others have gone through it.
much worse im sure.
thank you tumblr, thank you everyone.
